What are the properties of chain code?
Answer :
1. Each code follows the angular direction, in multiples of 45°, which means you must move to go from one contour pixel to the next.
2. If there is a slight changes in two consecutive chain code, contour will change the direction. The point is called corner.
3. Two absolute corners of the first contour pixel together with the chain code of the contour represent a complete description of the discrete region contour.
